Distilleria Aragonesi


Distillerie Aragonesi is the first distillery on the island of Ischia. A unique place in the heart of the ancient village of Ischia Ponte, with on-site production of artisanal liqueurs and spirits made solely from local fruits. A project founded in 2016 with the aim of researching and enhancing regional distillation traditions in the Mediterranean at risk of disappearing. A journey that began with the rediscovery of Figaro, a precious Portuguese fig liqueur, and that in Ischia has led to the recovery of the art of distillation and processing of a fruit with an ancient flavor, the carob, from whose extraordinary complexity Gerone, the brandy of Ischia, was born.
