Sorgeto Bay

hot springs from the sea

Sorgeto Bay is one of Ischia’s hidden treasures. Located on the island’s South Coast, it offers a unique natural spa experience thanks to its natural hot springs, which flow directly into the sea, creating a mixture of hot and cold waters.

This exceptional thermal phenomenon is due to the underground volcanic activity of Ischia. Those who choose to spend a few hours here can enjoy natural thermal baths immersed in small basins of crystal clear warm water, offering a feeling of well-being and relaxation. The bay can be reached from land via the hamlet of Panza in the municipality of Forio, walking 250 panoramic steps, or from the sea by cab boats that depart from the village of Sant’Angelo also connecting with the Maronti beach.
