This exceptional thermal phenomenon is due to the underground volcanic activity of Ischia. The bay can be reached from land via the hamlet of Panza in the municipality of Forio, walking 250 panoramic steps, or from the sea by cab boats that depart from the village of Sant’Angelo also connecting with the Maronti beach.
