On the island that is the cradle of Magna Graecia, where for twenty-nine centuries the vines brought by the Greeks of Euboea have found a land of choice, the September return of“Andar per Cantine” renews and consolidates the ancient culture of the symposium.
More and more wineries will welcome guests in joy, proud to offer the intoxicating fruit of a year’s intense and passionate work in the vineyards. The intensive program of walks, meetings and special events, to be shared with other travelers, will allow each participant to build the experience to suit his or her own steps, tastes and curiosities. Emotions and suggestions to be experienced along the itineraries with the names of the vines that have done honor to the island of Typhoeus: in the cellars, where the ritual of the symposium exalted in the eternal verses of the Cup of Nestor and in the traditional Ischian toast will be repeated; in the evening gatherings, to enjoy together the spectacle of the sunset and the magic of the evening, tasting the wines and other fruits of the fertile volcanic land.
In the first days of autumn, in harvest time, accompanied by the intense scents of must and herbs, welcomed by the empathy of the islanders, Ischia once again opens its green heart to those who will love to explore it. Have a good trip…
