Ischia and archaeology, Ischia and the thousands of extraordinary stories that unfold on its territory. From the dawn of time. Those of which it was the scene, the first Greek colony in the West, and those it loves to tell, because in June-the month of major events, between the Ischia International Prize for Journalism and the Ischia Film Festival-the island becomes a privileged stage. And from June 1 to 9, an event that is now firmly established in the cultural calendar of the summer season returns to Ischia: the festival “HISTORIÆ – archaeology and narratives.”, with base of operations at the Mill Tower and a full program of lectures, book presentations, panel discussions, exhibitions, guided tours, interactive workshops, and exciting performances (details are at www.festival-storiae.it).

The theme of this edition is “The Archives of Time,” or-as summarized by archaeologist Alessandra Vuoso, creator of the festival-“the bridge that connects eras and cultures.”
